Thanks & Praise

I am thankful for you, and I pray you will have a blessed Thanksgiving!

It is so important to pause and focus on the Lord and His blessings before entering into the Christmas holiday and turn of the New Year. Celebrating what God has already done will prepare us for the blessed things God is going to help us become and do in the future.

Therefore, we are taking intentional steps to set aside time for our church and ministry families to remember and share the goodness of God.

What are some ways you can intentionally take these steps with us?

I am thankful for our Sunday school teachers and classes who will build us up in God's Word at 9:30am.

Sunday morning at 10:30am, we will focus on continuing in the love of our Heavenly Father, for which we are so thankful! Where would you be without it?

With great anticipation, we want you to come and be a part of the Sunday evening Praise Service with us at 6:00. We will share blessings that span across our ministries and through our missionaries, along with special music and testimonies. If you've wondered how your serving, praying, inviting, and giving fits into God's plan, you'll be able to connect the dots and say, "Praise the Lord! He has done great things!" I am so glad to be a part of God's blessed miracles and work and to celebrate them with my friends!

Following Sunday night's Praise Service, we will have pie for you to eat and fellowship around, provided by our church family.

We will not have a midweek service this coming week, and we encourage you and all of our friends to celebrate God's blessings on Thursday's Thanksgiving Day. (Plan to come the following Wednesday at 7pm as our midweek Bible studies and gatherings for all age groups resume.)

We are very blessed, and in no way are we deserving of the benefits of God's grace in our lives! It is only through God's love for us that we are able to celebrate with hearts full of thanks this week.

Blessings to you,
Pastor Dennis Schaffer
