There is so much God did last year, we want Him to continue to do what He has been doing in us and through us as a church!
Of course, this means that we also need to continue taking steps of faith to follow Him. (Click here to open the theme picture you can save as a background or lock screen for your phone to remind you of the theme frequently.)
Through the month of January, we will focus on what it means to "Continue in the faith" as Colossians 1:23 reminds us, thereby becoming better, more faithful stewards of everything God entrusts to our care.
At the end of January, we will commit to taking these important faith steps as a church family, so we can continue preaching and promoting God's kingdom in a dark world.
Ron Taylor, a church planting missionary from New York City, will preach during the January 30 services (10:30am and 6pm). You'll enjoy hearing how God has worked as he and his family have persevered to plant churches in one of the world's biggest mission fields.
Be a part of the Sunday mornings services at 10:30 to learn more about the mission God has given us to point people to Jesus Christ, the Open Door of Salvation, Strength, and Service.
Together, we pledge ourselves and our all, including our time, talent, treasure, and truth, to the Lord and His great commission that found us and gives us hope in Him and the promises of His Word.
In light of our January focus, if there is a spiritual decision Pastor Dennis Schaffer or our church leaders can help you with, please let us know. One way is by sharing that need on a "Connecting Card."
If you would like some tools to aid your walk with Christ, visit our Engage page. Here you'll find links to our church app, information on how to give, ways to watch services online, an online accountability suggestion, and more.
If you are not yet a member of Open Door but would like more information, we hope to see you at our Connecting Pointe class on Sundays at 9:30am. Pastor Dennis leads the class, and it's a great opportunity to have your questions answered as you meet others.
