By now, you may have heard, but you are invited to our drive-in service tomorrow morning at 10:30! Many have been anticipating this opportunity for weeks! It will be great to use one of our first chances to get out to worship the Lord together. While we social distance from people, let's not social distance from our Savior!
First-time guests will receive a special gift for attending--just like at a "normal" service! Invite your friends and family to come with you! (Share the Drive In Worship Service event with others on Facebook!)
In general, plan to arrive and park your car (facing the south portico) before 10:30am. We'll greet you to help you park and will share the the radio frequency you'll need for listening to the service. You'll be able to hear the service on your radio on our campus. Not everyone will be able to get a "front row spot," but we will do our best to keep as many as we can in an area where they can still see. After the service, we will dismiss vehicles to leave in an orderly fashion. We will have a basket for those bringing an offering or returning connecting cards (we suggest you use online giving and the online connecting card).
Please help us follow COVID-19 guidelines. We will keep the service timely, since general public restroom use will not be available. Also, please keep your windows up (unless you are parked in an area that is at least 6 feet from others). During the service, you may "honk" to say, "Amen!"
We know some will be unable to attend, and attendees will want to share this experience with others. We will record the service, and we plan to make it available within two hours of the service ending via Facebook.com/opendooronline and Youtube.com/opendooronline. There are other services and events available on these pages to watch, and we hope the online content we provide is a blessing to you.
