Fall Missions Impact Gift

By Dennis Schaffer

Posted on September 2, 2022

Can you help get the first two classrooms open for January 2023 for $5,000?

We all have visions of changing the world for better. How would you like to be a part of doing that in one generation?

Jim and Shelley Dinsmore have a huge opportunity to build a school to reach children in northern Guatemala. In this remote and often challenging culture, as school will meet a significant need and build up young lives in Christ.

Get to know the Dinsmores!

Listen to the Dinsmores' heart for ministry in Guatemala!

Open Door has a burden for young peoples' futures, and Christian education is one of the best ways to make a difference! (This is why we are blessed to have a childcare center and academy, too!)

What is the goal? $5,000 will help finish the construction and prepare the school to open in January 2023. (Their school year is January to October.) And we would like to receive any financial gifts by November 13, so we can send what is given about Thanksgiving.

What does the future look like for the school in Guatemala?

We want to continue partnering with the Dinsmores and other missionaries with similar needs. The Dinsmores have a goal to add additional educational space to expand their classrooms. We would also love to send teams to help them build and to help with training teachers for their school and with ministry training and support.

Below is a look at the future, and we can help them get this started!

Use the form below to give to this special project. Mark any financial gifts for the Missions Impact Gift! We will celebrate what God does through your giving at our special Thanksgiving "Night of Praise" service on Sunday, November 20.
