"Good Steps"
ODBC Step Challenge
We believe God provides healing for the soul, and that "the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord" (Psalm 37:23). As a follower of Christ, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are encouraged to take care of the temple. In March, we are encouraging folks to take the "Good Steps" Challenge with us to get mobile and take good steps that will help us glorify God together.
We do not often emphasize the physical, but it is important--it's the only body God will give you this side of Heaven! In addition, as we take steps, we can do things that glorify God. As an example, while you are walking, you may encounter a neighbor or co-worker, and it could open a door for you to invite them to church.
Register below as an individual or a family, and each week submit steps reports that will show your daily steps. See if you find yourself taking more steps and getting stronger and healthier--and you just may be happier, too! The joy of the Lord is pretty contagious!
We'll be adding some additional activities that will be shown on each week's report that you can do to give you "bonus steps!"
"Good Steps" will officially begin on Sunday, March 1, when steps can begin being tracked. Use a pedometer or a smartphone to track your steps. Set goals, and enjoy the friendly challenge. We'll stop counting steps on Saturday, March 28, at midnight.
Sunday, April 5, we'll announce a winner for each category (individual and family) and award gift cards from Academy Sports!

Step Reporting Forms will appear here.
Paper forms will be available at the Church Building, too. Be sure to submit reports between the Sunday and Wednesday after a week ends, so we can include your steps!
"Bonus Steps" will be shown here and included on the weekly reports. Any activity completed will add "steps" to your total to help you in the challenge.
