In Awe of the Lord

I hope this does not sound too human for a Christ follower to admit, but I struggle with God's glory. I have a tendency to be more in awe of other things to which I give my attention, time, energy, and resources.

This is not just my own battle. It's your battle, too.

Here's a comforting truth. God knows that our hearts wrestle with awe, so He provides an amazing treasure-trove of gifts that remind us of how wonderful He is.

What do we often say when we see a newborn baby or something that captures our attention? One word: "Awe."

I pray that in 2024 we will each be able to get lasting glimpses of God's glory, and that we will live in awe of Him!
