OUR MISSION
Our mission as a church is to glorify the Lord by building relationships and leading people to the Open Door (Jesus Christ) of Salvation, Strength, and Service. We want the Gospel to reach our neighbors locally and globally. This includes doing missions as a church family and partnering with missionaries and agencies. Matthew 28:19-20 is the mission Jesus left us. We want to do our part to proclaim the message of Christ to the world!
OUR STORY
Open Door Baptist Church was planted by Pastor Cliff French in 1968 as the Denham Road Baptist Church. Since then, the church has relocated to Denham Springs on the east side of Baton Rouge. The mission is still the same: proclaiming Christ to people and discipling them locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
