Encouragement to help you never ever quit

"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed," John 8:31

We know well that the devil and the world want Christians to be discouraged and defeated. We also know what they know: Christians living in God's power are overcomers. (Let that sink in a bit.)

Therefore, 2022 has been a year we've been reinforcing our determination to keep living, serving, giving, and going for the glory of God.

Just before we shift gears for the holidays, we're going have a few final words of Biblical encouragement during our 10:30 Sunday morning services to help us "Never Ever Quit" certain things. These specific, key things will make a difference in our walks with God and others everyday.

I invite you to "Never Ever Quit," too, by learning with us starting tomorrow (Sunday), which is also "Friend Day" (come as my friend, and invite a friend to come with you or to watch online).

Oh, and it's also the time-change Sunday where we get to turn the clocks back and gain an extra hour before church.

Just when you thought it could not get any better, we will have pancakes available at 9am before Sunday school at 9:45am!

Most of the people reading this who are in-town suddenly have great reasons to come to church at Open Door--not to mention we'll have a great time worshipping, fellowshipping, and growing together in Christ!

I am praying you will have a blessed week ahead in God's grace!

In Christ,
Pastor Dennis Schaffer
