I Love My Heavenly Father!

I love my Heavenly Father! When we are His children, there's a powerful joy and confidence that is available to us because of our personal relationship.

Tomorrow at 10:30am at Open Door, we'll find great ways to celebrate and share this relationship. Jesus said, "I must be about my Father's business," and, like our Savior, we must be about our Father's business, too! Come ready to worship Him!

Speaking of the Father's business, it involves making disciples for Him. I am hoping as a church family that we are all putting this concept into action. This is a great burden and prayer request of mine. Keep taking faith steps. Keep sharing Christ by your words, attitudes, and actions. It really does make a difference in peoples' lives, and we've seen lives changed recently!

Be in prayer for Vacation Bible School this coming week. (VBS is 6-9pm, Sunday-Thursday, June 7-11, at 6-8pm; VBS Explosion Service is 10:30am, Sunday, June 14.) Much of the church facilities are decorated for this big event--it looks great! We do this to reach children and their families with the Gospel--so more people can know our amazing Heavenly Father like we do!

It's summertime, and it can be easy to disconnect. That can be good if you're trying to unplug from the world for a bit, butstay connected to Christ, His Word, and your church family! Events and service opportunities like VBS, studies like Sunday school, and services like Sunday morning and WOW! Wednesday are great choices to build relationships and sharpen each other.
